The Deluxe Lightweight Self Propelled Aluminium Wheelchair from Aidapt is our latest design in lightweight, compact wheelchairs. Made from high grade aluminium with a double cross bar for strength, the Lightweight Aluminium Wheelchair also offers ease of movement for the user and quick-folding for trouble-free transportation. Tested to British Standards, the Deluxe Lightweight Aluminium Wheelchair is ideal for the active, independant user. Features include palm activated, quick-release rear wheels, luxury padded upholstery, half folding backrest, flip back armrests, height adjustable, detachable leg rests and aluminium brakes. It is finished in a unique, non-marking hammered paint finish that gives it an extremely modern and attractive look and improves the lifetime use. Featuring a 5 Year Warranty on the frame (non-transferable, activated on receipt of the guarantee card).

The Deluxe Lightweight Self Propelled Aluminium Wheelchair has an impressive feature list and has been tested to British Standards, so you can be absolutely confident of the quality, safety and durability. We found the wheelchair to be extremely easy to handle and fold for transporting; it's sturdy enough for regular use thanks to the high grade aluminium frame with double cross bar for added strength, but is also very lightweight, making it the ideal choice for travel and holiday. We're sure these are features that have been included with the active user very much in mind. In terms of comfort, the luxury padded upholstery offers a cushioned ride, as you would expect, while the half folding backrest, flip back armrests and detachable leg rests (with height adjustment) give you plenty of options to achieve a great fit, so the wheelchair can meet a really wide range of needs and preferences, making it safer and more comfortable to use. Finally, we think it's also worth highlighting the attractive and highly functional frame; it has a special non-marking, hammered paint finish, so your wheelchair will take the rigours of everyday use and stay looking good for many years to come.
