The Product Details page has a range of information relating to the product you are viewing to assist you in making your purchase.
Product Images and Overview
Generally, the Product Details page will include the following:
- the Product name
- a short description of the product
- a picture of the product and link to open a new window showing an enlarged version of the image
- alternative pictures/thumbnails (showing different views, uses and/or options for the product). The thumbnail pictures are shown to the right of the main product image; click the thumbnail image to enlarge it.
Product Options
Directly below the main image you'll find a table containing the following:
- product code
- product options
- price for the standard product and any optional extras or different versions of the product
- a Buy Now button for each version of the product (if the product/option is in stock)
Detailed Product Information
Further, more detailed, product information is provided below the Product Options table. This section has more comprehensive descriptions of the product, as well as technical specifications, etc. The full product details includes:
- a full description fo the product including benefits, uses and features
- feature/technical specification details
- most products have links to view or download a Manual and/or technical information such as the item's User and Maintenance Instructions
- many items have customer feedback and product reviews, as well as a link to send the product details to a friend
General Details
To the right of the product images you will find further, general information:
- a summary of the current contents of your basket
- links to other/similar products you may be interested in viewing
