The Aidapt website has been designed so that all our visitors can easily find the products or information they need, in a consistent and straightforward way.
You will find several ways to navigate and use this website, which we have included to ensure that we cater for a diverse range of visitors, including those with specific accessibility requirements.
Below you will see examples of ways you may wish to navigate this website, with further details below each of the headings:
Search Box: Search by Keyword or Product Code
If you have a specific product in mind and know the name or product code, the Search Box is often the fastest way to navigate.
- Our Search Box is located at the very top of each page.
- Simply type the product name, type, keyword or code into the box and click the Submit button.
- The search results will appear as a list of links on the page.
Menu: Search by Use or by Room
If you have an idea of how, why or where you would use a product, but are not sure of the product name or code, you can easily browse the categories using the menu to the left of each page.
- The Menu is split into categories, some by room (e.g. Living Room, Bathroom) and some by use (Mobility, Moving and Handling).
- Each of these categories then contains sub-categories, which list the Types of products within the main category.
Sub-Category Listings: Search by Type
After selecting a category from the Menu to the left of the page, you will see that a listing of the sub-categories appears on the main content area of the website (to the right of the Menu).
This page details a summary of the category you have selected, with a table below this description that lists the following information for each of the sub-categories within the main category:
- a sample image
- a brief description
- a featured product
Product Listings: Search by Product
When you select a sub-category from the Menu to the left of the page (or from the Category Listing Page), a listing of Products appears on the main content area of the website (to the right of the Menu).
This page details a summary of the category you have selected, with a table below the description listing the following information for each product within the sub-category:
- Product Image
- Product Code
- Description
- Buttons to Buy/View Options/View Details
- Out of Stock Notification
Breadcrumbs: Navigation History
We have what is called a Breadcrumb Trail at the top left of the page, to help you see your journey through the Aidapt website.
- For example, if you visit the Home page, then click on the Mobility link in the menu, followed by the Rollators link in the sub menu, the Breadcrumb Trail will display as follows:

- Each of the page names are a link to that page, so that you can easily go back to any stage of your website journey
