Staff Review: The 'can-do' table for all around the home

The Canterbury Multi-Table has been designed as an over-bed table, with a specially-shaped base that can effortlessly slide under your bed and provide a stable surface for eating, reading or crafting. But, we found it to be so much more useful than just a bed table thanks to some really clever features included in the design. Firstly, the look of the multi-table is stylish and quite modern, with a smart beech effect top, but it would suit more traditional homes too. The table top and frame are all easy to just wipe down after use, so it's ideal for dining or crafting. We were also impressed by the overall sturdy construction, height adjustment on the legs and chunky adjustment wheels to change the table angle (another clever feature meaning that you can easily tilt the table towards you for reading or writing). One detail we really like is that the multi-table has been thoughtfully designed to include hardwood upstands at either side, so if you're reading or working on a crossword and have the table tilted, the book won't slide off and you don't have to keep your hand on it to hold it in place - simple but very effective! We love the fact that the base has braked castors, making the over-bed table portable, but steady once it's positioned as you want it. This all adds up to an attractive and genuinely useful piece of furniture for people of all ages, enjoying all types of activities, all around the home.
