Staff Review: Easy, extra support all around your home

17/01/2012

Solo Hinged Arm Supports are sturdy and easy to clean and have been designed to offer support for users of up to 20 stone (127 kg). We were impressed by the positive lock system, which means that once the arm support has been raised and locked in position, it's a dual-purpose grab bar and support, making it a dependable fixed mobility aid. The arm support can be easily fitted to most locations around your home including damp areas such as the bathroom and kitchen; the only limit to where you position the bar is the material to which the support is fixed, this needs to be strong enough for the combined weight of the arm support and user. There are many, many arm supports on the market, but we like the simplicity of the installation and the fact that any competent DIYer should be more than capable of fitting the Solo Hinged Arm Support within minutes. It's also extremely affordable and the range is available in several sizes, making it a great choice wherever you need extra support.
