Staff Review: Improved comfort, convenience and independence with this modern showering aid
17/01/2012
We highly recommend this affordable bathing aid for users who find it more comfortable to sit while using an over-bath shower. The Medina Shower/Bath Board is constructed from a reinforced, high quality plastic and is extremely strong, with a generous 25 stone (159 kg) weight limit, so it's suitable for users of all ages and sizes. With a simple, neutral design, the bath board is really versatile and won't look at all out of place in a modern or traditional bathroom. The adjustable locking cleats at either side mean that the bath board can be used with both acrylic and cast iron baths. This model has more slats running across, so gives a more generously-sized seat, adding to the comfort factor. The bath board is quick and easy to fit and remove making it really convenient if you share a bathroom with others who may prefer to use the bath without the bath board in place, although we think it would actually be quite handy to use as a bath shelf when it's not being used as a seat!
